TICKETPLACE FAQ's

TICKETPLACE is a program of the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington
(CAGW),
a nonprofit organization that works to promote our members
programming to residents and visitors of Metro DC. All inventory sold on
TICKETPLACE is provided by CAGW members. The CAGW returns ticket sales
to participating members, retaining the service fee to defray costs.


I am looking for a particular performance and do not see it for sale. What do
I do?

How can I keep track of what you offer?
How do I purchase tickets from TICKETPLACE?

What do I do?
TICKETPLACE may not have discount tickets to every
performance. If you are looking for tickets to a show that you do not see listed
on our site please check back as inventory changes daily.

How do I purchase tickets from TICKETPLACE?
Online at TICKETPLACE.org is the quickest, easiest way to purchase tickets
as the online store is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
TICKETPLACE retail outlet is located at 407 7th Street NW, WDC (corner of 7th
& D Streets NW) with limited hours: Wed, Thu & Fri 11am-6pm; Sat 10am-5pm.
There are no phone sales.


How are ticket prices calculated?
Unless noted, all tickets are sold at half-price plus a service fee. We return the
price of the ticket to the presenter/CAGW member. We retain the service charge
to help defray our operating costs.


Are these good seats? Can I choose my seat?
These are seats that are regularly sold by the presenters and are currently
unsold inventory. Seating is provided by the presenter at the venue. It should
be noted that when your purchase at TICKETPLACE you will be seated within
the section of your purchase.


How do I get my tickets?
Upon completion of your purchase you will receive a confirmation. Bring this,
along with your proof of ID, to the venue's "Will Call" window one hour prior to
curtain.


Can I exchange tickets or cancel my tickets for a
refund?

All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges. The exception to this policy is
if an event is cancelled.


What are the payment methods?
American Express, MasterCard, Visa only. Your charge card statement will
read TICKETPLACE/Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington.
