How do I purchase tickets from TICKETPLACE?
The TICKETPLACE booth at 407 7th Street NW sells:
Half-price day of show tickets
Advance sale half-price tickets
Full price tickets offered by TICKETMASTER
TICKETPLACE booth is open:
Tuesday - Friday 11am - 6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm
At TICKETPLACE.org:
Half-price, day-of-show tickets online from Tuesday - Friday from 12midnight-4:00pm.
NOTE: Not all venues are available online.
Are these good seats?
Seating varies by venue. Venues with assigned seating provide seats in various locations. Our system chooses the best seat location(s) available at the time of purchase.
For general admission venues, we recommend you arrive a half hour before the time of the performance.
NOTE: If an obstructed view is the only seat available, you will be warned about the obstructions.
Are offerings at the TICKETPLACE booth available online?
We sell tickets based on the organization's preference, so some tickets may only be available at the TICKETPLACE booth.
How do I get my tickets?
Purchased at the TICKETPLACE booth:
When you purchase at the TICKETPLACE booth you receive a paper ticket that you take to the venue.
Purchased online at TICKETPLACE.org:
Pick up your tickets at the venue's "Will Call" window one hour prior to curtain. Be sure to bring proper identification and the confirmation of your purchase.
What are the service charges?
All service charges are based on a percentage of the full price (face value) of the ticket. Service fees are calculated per ticket.
Purchased at the TICKETPLACE booth: 12%
Purchased at TICKETPLACE.org: 17%
What are the payment methods?
TICKETPLACE booth accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa only. No cash, checks or travelers checks.
TICKETPLACE.org accepts MasterCard and Visa only
Can I exchange tickets or get a refund?
All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges. The exception to this policy is if an event is cancelled.
Does TICKETPLACE sell tickets over the phone?
No.
Who runs TICKETPLACE?
TICKETPLACE is a program of the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington (CAGW), a nonprofit arts organization that serves the region's arts organizations and cultural institutions.
